中国厦門大学学生の中央大学理工学部での活動報告(9/5)

中国厦門大学理工系学生の中央大学理工学部での５日目の研修は、「学生によるワークショップ（Joint Workshop）」です。
理工学部白井宏教授を座長に、厦門大学の学生と中央大学の学生による研究発表を交互に行いました。
発表はもちろん、質疑応答も全て英語で行いました。また、本日は厦門大学から物理機械電気工学院・院長呉晨旭教授（WU Chenxu Dean/Prof. of School of Physics and Mechanical & Electrical Engineering, Xiamen University）が参加されました。
最初の"Introduction of Xiamen City and Xiamen University"では、厦門の歴史、方言、文化等、そして厦門大学の歴史、概要、国際協定等が紹介され、特に写真で紹介された厦門の美しい風景が印象的でした。
２番目以降は、学生が自分の研究分野から発表を行いました。
学生からは専門以外の分野についても、様々な質問があがりました。

ワークショップ終了後は、Farewell Partyを開催しました。
翌日のバスツアーを残して中央大学における研修は本日で終了ということで、福原紀彦学長からさくらサイエンスプラン修了証が手渡されました。
学生同士は、閉会後も一緒に写真撮影を行う等、名残惜しい様子でした。
