科目ナンバリング

ENGLISH FOLLOWS

中央大学では、学部・研究科等で開講する全ての授業科目に「科目ナンバリング制度」を導入しています。

1. 授業科目をレベル、学問分野等で分類し、教育課程の体系性を明示することで、学生の適切な授業科目選択を促します（順次的・体系的な履修の促進）。
2. 授業科目のレベル・学問分野等を学外に対しても分かりやすく示すことで、海外大学との単位互換の利便性を高めます（国際通用性の向上）。
3. 科目ナンバリングやカリキュラムマップを学内の教職員間におけるコミュニケーションツールとして活用することで、教職員の教育課程編成に関する理解を深めます（カリキュラムマネジメントの推進）。

科目ナンバーは、授業科目毎に7種類の情報を示すコードが付されます。

科目を開講する教育組織（学部・研究科など）をアルファベット２文字で示しています。

[2] 分野コード（182KB）
学問分野をアルファベット２文字で示しています。

[3] レベルコード（81KB）
授業のレベルを数字１文字で示しています。

[4]-[7] 識別コード（１）～（４）（722KB）
各教育組織（学部・研究科など）において定めた採番ルールに基づいて、４つの英数字を付番しています。

※識別コードを使用しない場合は、“X(エックス)”が付番されています。

※[7]授業形態コード（192KB）
以下の学部・研究科に限り、「識別コード（４）」を使用して授業形態を示しています。

At Chuo University, a Course Numbering System is being implemented across all Faculties and Graduate Schools.

1. By categorizing the difficulty level/academic field of each course, and clarifying the sequence in the curriculum, students can better understand which courses they should register for.
2. By indicating the difficulty level/academic field of each course intelligibly, it will also make it easier to transfer credits outside the University and to foreign universities.
3. By using a Course Numbering System and Curriculum Maps as communication tools within the University, faculty and staff members can deepen their understanding of the curriculum.

Each Course Number is composed of seven separate types of information and each course has its own unique code.

Two letters of the alphabet are used to indicate the Faculty/Graduate School providing the course.

[2] Academic Field Code（182KB）
Two letters of the alphabet are used to indicate academic fields.

[3] Level Code（81KB）
A one-digit number is used to indicate the difficulty level.

[4]-[7] Identification Code (1)-(4)（722KB）
Based on the rules set by each Faculty/Graduate School, four alphanumeric characters are used for an identification code.^*
