グローバル・マシュマロ・チャレンジ／Global Marshmallow Challenge

「マシュマロ・チャレンジ」は、創造力、失敗からの学び、そしてチームワークを体験的に習得することを目的とした、アントレプレナーシップを体感できるゲームです。一定の制約の中での試行錯誤を通じて、プロトタイピングや柔軟な思考の重要性を学び、起業家精神の基礎となる概念に触れることが可能です。
また、本イベントは、グローバル・アントレプレナーシップの推進に向けた取り組みの一つとして、異文化交流を促進し、多様な視点からの協力と創造性を引き出します。失敗を恐れず挑戦する文化を育み、イベント参加者が新たな価値を創造できるグローバル人材としての第一歩を踏み出すきっかけとなることを目指しています。
 

Marshmallow Challenge is a game in which teams work together to build the tallest structure possible within a time limit using predetermined materials!
Teamwork, creativity, and a little strategy are required. It is sure to be a fun experience!
 

◆1チーム4名で構成
◆提供される材料に使用して、自立可能なタワーを建設
◆タワーの頂点にマシュマロを配置し、最も高いタワーを建てたチームが勝利
◆制限時間は18分
◆マシュマロは切断不可、パスタやテープ、ひもは切断・結束可能
◆テープで足場を固定することは禁止
◆上記に書いてある禁止事項以外は自由
◆運営スタッフが危険と判断する行為以外は特に制限なし

Rules for the Marshmallow Challenge

・Each team consists of 4 members.
・Use the provided materials to build a freestanding tower.
・Place a marshmallow at the top of your tower—the team with the tallest structure wins!
・Time limit: 18 minutes.
・Marshmallows cannot be cut, but you may cut or tie the spaghetti, tape, and string.
・No taping the base to the surface.
・Anything not explicitly prohibited in these rules is allowed.
・Actions deemed unsafe by the staff are not permitted.
