Outline Periods
The theme of this research is consideration about liberal arts education methods for future universities. In Japan, the division of general education and specialized education as well as the division of subjects within general education were abolished in 1991 with the deregulation of the Standards for the Establishment of Universities. Since then, the way liberal arts education are conducted have differed from university to university. Now after 30 years, we will investigate whether or not any distinctive curricula for liberal arts education have been developed, and what kind of curricula they are.
