Graduate Programs

Graduate education represents the pinnacle of education and research, and as such its role is to support the pursuit of in-depth learning and so contribute to social and cultural improvement. Chuo University's graduate programs have been producing a steady stream of top researchers and educators since their inception in 1951.

To take account of the growing need in society for adult and "recurrent" education, the University has undertaken wide-reaching reforms in its graduate programs. The University's work on developing a system to provide training for highly expert professionals is also ongoing.
