Study-Abroad Programs for Chuo University students:

1. The University’s own study abroad programs (exchange programs with partner institutions, study abroad at institutions other than partner institutions, and short-term programs);
2.The use of holiday time or leaves of absence to study abroad.

The University’s study-abroad programs offer places overseas for more than 200 students a year. For students who undertake a one-year exchange or study-abroad programs, every consideration is given to help them complete coursework and receive credits for subjects studied abroad, and financial support is offered by the University in the form of scholarships and reduction of, or exemption from, academic fees. When students return from studying abroad, their experiences can be put to great use, whether in their professions or graduate studies.
