Professor Mitsunori Makino of the School of Science and Engineering Visits Srinakharinwirot University (Thailand)

On July 7, 2026, Professor Mitsunori Makino of the School of Science and Engineering visited Srinakharinwirot University (SWU) in Thailand and attended the 20th anniversary ceremony of the College of Social Communication Innovation.

This visit was conducted based on the international academic exchange agreement including research collaboration established between the Faculty of Fundamental Science and Engineering, the Faculty of Science, Engineering and Society, and the Faculty of Advanced Science and Engineering of Chuo University, as well as the Graduate School of Science and Engineering, and SWU. During the visit, Professor Makino met with the Dean of the College of Social Communication Innovation to exchange updates on both universities. He also toured the College’s laboratories and research facilities.

The visit marked a significant step toward further developing future cooperative relations between the two institutions, and is expected to promote expanded collaboration in both education and research.
