Two Museums Newly Open at “Honoo-no-To,” Tama Campus; The Museum of Law and Justice and The Museum of Chuo University History

On April 1, 2024, The Museum of Law and Justice and The Museum of Chuo University History will open simultaneously on the second floor of “Honoo-no-To,” Tama Campus. The Museums have four exhibition rooms, allowing visitors to enjoy two permanent exhibitions and two special exhibitions.

The Museum of Law and Justice honors legal professionals or other great people who have played historically important roles in championing fundamental human rights and realizing justice. The Museum aims to be conducive to providing educational opportunities by broadly rewarding these individuals.

The Museum of Chuo University History is committed to clarifying Chuo’s identity by featuring the history of the University started as Igirisu Horitsu Gakko and the traces of Chuo’s interested individuals.

The kickoff special exhibition at The Museum of Law and Justice will be “Overturn the Testimony of Medical Scientists – A Fight of the Lawyer Junichi Matsunami ” along with the opening of each museums’ permanent exhibitions.

The Museums are open to anyone for free.
