MEXT Scholarship Program

Please follow the instructions from the Japanese Embassy/Consulate in your home country to apply.

If you wish to obtain a letter of acceptance from Chuo University, please send the required documents to the International Center by the deadline indicated in the application guidelines.

※You do not need to contact your desired academic advisor in advance.

※Your initial status at Chuo University will be a non-degree student (research student). If you wish to proceed to a regular course, you must pass the required exam after arriving in Japan.

The subject line of your email should be “MEXT scholarship application.”

Based on the application guidelines of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT), we will send the application guidelines to our overseas partner universities that have concluded inter-university agreements with Chuo University (in November every year). Please contact the person in charge of your home university for application.
