Faculty Overview

The Faculty of Global Management of Chuo University (GLOMAC) was established in 2019 with the goal of training global leaders. Through providing education and research in management and economic theories and other related academic fields, we aim to equip students with the expertise in corporate management and global economy as well as high language proficiency to succeed internationally.

One of the main features of the curriculum at GLOMAC is that it combines 1) the “explicit knowledge” gained through learning in Specialized Courses such as Corporate Management, Global Area Studies and Public Affairs and 2) the “tacit knowledge” gained through learning activities such as participating in study abroad programs, field studies, and practicing communication skills in the Courses to Aid International Success together with seminar endeavors focused on a specific research area. This is for the students to be well-equipped with the “practical knowledge” of strategic thinking and international communication ability required by a global leader.
