Response to the Approaching Typhoon No. 25 (2nd Report)

To all students, professors and staff,

Due to the approaching Typhoon No. 25, and in consideration of ensuring the safety of students, professors, and staff as well as potential disruptions to public transportation, classes and examinations on Monday, September 21 will be 
handled at each campus as follows;

・Tama Campus 
Face-to-face classes and examinations will be canceled for the entire day. 
The campus is not closed. However, please refrain from non-essential visits or commuting to the campus, and make every effort to ensure your own safety.

・Korakuen Campus 
Face-to-face classes and examinations will be canceled for the entire day. Access to the campus for laboratory use is not restricted, but please make every effort to ensure your own safety.

・Ichigaya-Tamachi Campus 
Faculty of Global Informatics;
Face-to-face classes and examinations will be canceled for the entire day.

Graduate School of Global Informatics;
Classes will be conducted online. Please access them from an environment where your safety can be secured, such as your home. 
Please note that the campus is not closed. However, this decision may be updated should surrounding conditions worsen and affect the campus.

・Myogadani Campus, Koishikawa Campus 
Face-to-face classes and examinations will be canceled for the entire day. 
 You will not be allowed to enter the Myogadani Campus or Koishikawa Campus for the entire day.

・Surugadai Campus
Chuo Law School;
All Classes will be conducted online. Please access them from an environment where your safety can be secured, such as your home.
Your course instructor will provide specific details for each class via manaba before the start of the class time.

Chuo Graduate School of Strategic Management;
No classes are scheduled for Monday, September 21 as per the academic calendar.

Notes (Common to all campuses)
・Handling of online classes 
Classes originally planned to be conducted online will be held as scheduled regardless of the weather.

・Regarding make-up classes
The make-up dates for canceled classes and examinations, as well as future policy responses, will be announced on CampusSquare or campus-specific portal sites as soon as they are determined at a later date.

・Regarding campus access
Please check the access policy for each campus, refrain from non-essential visits or commuting to the campus, and make every effort to ensure your own safety.
