Chuo University Releases Two New Promotional Videos for a Global Audience

A new branding video for international outreach, "Knowledge into Action", has been released. Centered on our brand message, the video dynamically expresses the University’s distinctive spirit of "practical learning" (Jitsugaku) through the motif of Japanese calligraphy, a traditional cultural art form. It showcases Chuo’s cutting-edge research and education, the scenic Tama Campus adorned with cherry blossoms in full bloom, and our global learning environment and initiatives, concluding with a message from the President.

The title, "Knowledge into Action," reflects Chuo University's enduring commitment to practical education since its founding, as well as its aspiration to become a university with a significant global presence.

The calligraphy featured in the video was created with the cooperation of Ms. Yilin Guo, a calligrapher who was a graduate student at the time of filming and currently serves as an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Economics.

Chuo University has also released a new video introducing international student life, titled "Two Paths, One Campus – A Step Forward to Broader Horizons." The video follows two international students from different countries as they navigate real student life—including classes and everyday social interactions—centered around the Tama Campus, which houses the International Residence Chuo. Through the core message of "the importance of taking one step forward," the video conveys the unique appeal of Chuo University to young people aspiring to study in Japan.
