Response to the Approaching Typhoon No. 6 (2nd Report)

To all students, professors and staff,

Due to the approaching Typhoon No. 6, and in consideration of ensuring the safety of students, professors, and staff as well as potential disruptions to public transportation, classes and examinations on Wednesday, June 3 will be handled at each campus as follows;

・Tama Campus

Face-to-face classes and examinations will be canceled for the entire day. If you receive any instructions from your instructor regarding alternative measures for the canceled classes, please follow them.

Please refrain from non-essential visits or commuting to the campus, and make every effort to ensure your own safety.

 

・Korakuen Campus (Faculty of Fundamental Science and Engineering, Faculty of Science, Engineering and Society, Faculty of Advanced Science and Engineering, Faculty of Science and Engineering and Graduate School of Science and Engineering)

Face-to-face classes and examinations will be canceled for the entire day. If there are individual instructions (such as switching to an online format) from the instructor in charge of the class, please check them on the manaba course page, etc. Access to the campus for laboratory use is not restricted, but please make every effort to ensure your own safety.

 

・Ichigaya-Tamachi Campus

Faculty of Global Informatics;

Face-to-face classes and examinations will be canceled for the entire day.

Department of Global Informatics;

Classes will be conducted online. Please access them from an environment where your safety can be secured, such as your home. Please refrain from non-essential visits or commuting to the campus, and make every effort to ensure your own safety.

 

・Myogadani Campus, Koishikawa Campus

Face-to-face classes and examinations will be canceled for the entire day. Classes originally planned to be conducted online will be held. However, if it is determined that a class cannot be held, it will be canceled. In such cases, please follow the instructions of the instructor in charge via "manaba." You will not be allowed to enter the Myogadani Campus or Koishikawa Campus for the entire day.

 

・Surugadai Campus

Chuo Law School;

 Face-to-face classes and examinations for Period 1 and Period 2 will be canceled. From Period 3 onward, classes will be conducted via a real-time online format. Please follow the instructions from your instructor regarding the details of the class.

Chuo Graduate School of Strategic Management;

The hybrid classes and online classes starting from 18:30 will be conducted as scheduled.

 ・Handling of online classes

Classes originally planned to be conducted online will be held as scheduled regardless of the weather.

 ・Regarding make-up classes

 The make-up dates for canceled classes and examinations, as well as future policy responses, will be announced on Cplus or campus-specific portal sites as soon as they are determined at a later date.

 ・Regarding campus access

 Please check the access policy for each campus, refrain from non-essential visits or commuting to the campus, and make every effort to ensure your own safety.
