Faculty of Global Management: Third-Year Students Hoang Minh Tuan and Le Pham Thuy Ly Deliver Congratulatory Address at the 10th Anniversary Ceremony of the Japanese International School in Vietnam

The Japanese International School (JIS) in Hanoi, Vietnam, founded in 2016, is an integrated primary, lower, and upper secondary school providing Japanese-style education from kindergarten through high school. Since its founding, JIS has maintained a cooperative relationship with Chuo University since its founding and, in 2021, became the University’s first international partner school.

On March 7, 2026, a ceremony was held to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the founding of JIS. Chuo University was represented at the event by Chair of the Board Masahiko Omura and President Hisashi Kawai. During the ceremony, JIS alumni and current third-year students of the Faculty of Global Management, Hoang Minh Tuan and Le Pham Thuy Ly, took the stage as commemorative speakers alongside Professor Maki Kunimatsu in the same faculty (Vice President and Director of the International Center). They delivered congratulatory remarks celebrating the school’s 10th anniversary, introduced their student life at Chuo University, and shared messages of encouragement with their juniors.

The messages shared by the two students—who stepped beyond their comfort zones in pursuit of new challenges and experiences—resonated deeply not only with younger JIS students, but also the hundreds of Japanese and Vietnamese education professionals in attendance.

The Faculty of Global Management continues to support and encourage students in their pursuit of challenge and creativity through collaboration with institutions both within and outside the University.
