Faculty of Global Management Student Presents Joint Research Findings at International Conference in Paris
From August 14 to 16, 2025, the 6th International Conference on Tourism Management and Hospitality was held at the Novotel in Paris, France. A member of the J. Nakamura Laboratory, Nanami Kanda (Faculty of Global Management, 4th generation), submitted a paper that was accepted for presentation.
The presentation at the conference stemmed from the earlier involvement in nano tech 2025 The 24th International Nanotechnology Exhibition & Conference, held from January 29 to 31. The J. Nakamura Laboratory conducted joint research in collaboration with JTB Communication Design Inc., the organizer of the Exhibition, and SHOEI Bijutsu Co., Ltd, which was responsible for designing and managing the Exhibition. The research project involved a) discussing and identifying factors affecting the satisfaction of visitors and exhibitors, b) designing questionnaires for visitors, c) collecting approximately 1,000 samples on-site, and d) conducting a hypothesis-driven analysis, which ended up presenting the results at the International Conference.

As the questionnaire adopted a hypothesis testing approach, they calculated the applicability of the verification model using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) and presented their insights at the International Conference. The Conference attracted participants all over the world, including the USA, Great Britain, Spain, Portugal, Finland, Cyprus, Poland, Albania, Saudi Arabia, Nigeria, South Africa, Israel, Indonesia, Bangladesh, Australia, Taiwan, Korea, and Japan. Ms. Kanda experienced a meaningful time engaging in lively discussions and responding to many questions following the presentation.
The Faculty of Global Management focuses on collaboration with various companies to offer students practical learning opportunities starting from the intersection of business and academia. The J. Nakamura Laboratory actively presents findings of joint studies at domestic and international academic conferences, continually broadening its perspectives through interacting with external experts.
