Agreement Established between Institute of Comparative Law in Japan and College of Law, National University of Kaohsiung

On March 11th, 2025, the Institute of Comparative Law in Japan, Chuo University, and the College of Law, National University of Kaohsiung entered into an Agreement to broadly promote research on Asian Comparative Law beyond two countries, through academic interactions and collaborative studies by researchers.

Professor Jiuan-Yih WU, Dean of the College of Law, National University of Kaohsiung, and Professor Tatsuya KITAI, Director, Institute of Comparative Law in Japan, Chuo University, signed the agreement at the ceremony held at the Korakuen Campus in central Tokyo.

Following the signing ceremony, Dean Wu gave a lecture titled “The current development of the defense counsel’s right to inspect files in pre-trial proceedings in Taiwan”.
