Prof. KUNII’s project exhibited their swarm robot research for moon exploration at ICRA2024 (May 13-16, 2024)

The R&D project “Intelligent Multi Agents for Exploration and Settlement in Unknown and Unexplored Areas” led by prof. KUNII Yasuharu, Faculty of Science and Engineering, as a project manager, exhibited their swarm robot research for lunar exploration at the robotics leading international conference” ICRA2024- IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation. This conference was held at Pacifico Yokohama from May 13rd to May 16th, 2024. KUNII’s project jointly exhibited with all 8 projects of Moonshot R&D Goal 3.
Among the many robotics research teams and robotics companies exhibiting at conference, KUNII's project seemed to be the only one "swarm robots" exhibiting. The presentation of both actual multiple small robots and planed lunar expedition attracted around 300 scientists audience who visited the project booth.
