Vice President of the University of Würzburg in Germany visits Chuo and an information session for students held

On Wednesday, October 4, Vice President Doris Fischer and Tanja Mousikos from the International Students Department of the University of Würzburg in Germany visited the Tama Campus and held an information session for students majoring in German Studies, Division of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Letters.

The University of Würzburg and Chuo have maintained a good relationship since signing an agreement in 1987. It is the oldest of Chuo’s partner universities in Germany, and in the last 10 years, 30 Chuo students have been sent to the University of Würzburg as exchange students.

After having a friendly talk with Associate Director of the International Center, Maki Kunimatsu, the group gave a presentation introducing the University of Würzburg to 20 students majoring in German Studies, Division of Humanities and Social Sciences, Faculty of Letters. The presentation provided a clear understanding of the city of Würzburg, the characteristics of the university, and study abroad life of international students enrolled at the university, helping to gain momentum for studying abroad in Germany.
