President Jing-Yang Jou of National Central University (Taiwan) Made a Visit to Tama Campus
On September 28, 2023, President Jing-Yang Jou of National Central University in Taiwan visited the Chuo University Tama Campus to meet the President Hisashi Kawai, Vice President Hiroshi Shirai (Director of International Center), and Dean of Faculty of Science and Engineering Kazunori Umeda.
National Central University is one of the Chuo University’s International Partnership Institutions. The partnership agreement was entered in 2010 and the both institutions have been establishing an intimate relationships since, such as Chuo donating cherry blossoms to National Central University in March, 2011, with support from Japan-China Alumni Friendship Club. Furthermore, National Central University has signed an international double degree program with Faculty of Science and Engineering in March, 2018. Since then, active interactions are going on between National Central University and the Faculty of Science and Engineering such as setting up the international exchange system or accepting researchers. Chuo University expects further development of academic interaction with the National Central University in the future.
