Regarding classes when a disruption of public transportation is expected due to worsening weather conditions (typhoons, heavy snow, etc.) in the future, the University will take the following measures.
Please check the University official website or C plus for details.

【Applicable in worsening weather conditions】
When typhoons, heavy snow, etc. are expected to cause major disruptions of public transportation* due to worsening weather conditions in Tokyo, Kanagawa, Saitama, and Chiba Prefectures, safety measures will be applied.

*Major disruptions of public transportation mean cancellations or suspensions of operations for several hours, including planned suspensions. The Tama Monorail operations will be considered first to determine whether to cancel classes at the Tama Campus.

【Purpose of safety measures】
The purpose is to ensure the safety of people on campus, especially students.

【Measures on each campus】
In principle, the above measures will be standard for all campuses, but depending on theimpact of the worsening weather conditions, individual measures may be taken on each campus.

【Time and method of announcements regarding weather conditions】
1. Time of announcement
Class cancellations for first-period classes: by 6:00 am of the day of the class cancellation. Cancellations for second-period classes or any subsequent classes: 3 hours before the starting time of those classes.

2. Method of announcements
Announcements will be posted on the “Important Information” section of the University official website and on the “Notice Management (Priority: Urgent)” of C plus. Visitors will be informed through building-wide announcements. In addition, class cancellations of multiple periods may be announced together.

【Measures for each class format】

Format Measures
Face-to-face classes Will not be conducted. However, classes of the Graduate Schools, including the Professional Graduate Schools, may be changed from face-to-face to online.
Online classes Will be conducted as scheduled.

【Other】
Regarding various face-to-face events other than face-to-face classes
