Signing Ceremony for Internship Agreement with Panyapiwat Institute of Management

The signing ceremony for the Memoranda of Confirmation for Internship Students was held online on March 9, 2021, to renew the internship agreement between the Faculty of Commerce and the Faculty of Liberal Arts, Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM) , Thailand.

The Faculty of Commerce has been running an internship program with Panyapiwat Institute of Management since 2014. In this program, Chuo University students are sent to Thailand to do internships at CP All Plc., the parent company of PIM, while PIM students are accepted by Chuo University to do internships at the Chuo University Co-op, companies, and restaurants, etc.. This is a two-way global internship that is unique to the Faulty of Commerce.

The Faculty of Commerce offers "Global Professional Program” in which students can deepen their study of English and second languages by learning diverse values, cultures, customs, and challenges of foreign countries, and also actively participate in overseas internships and domestic and international fieldwork by making use of their language abilities.

In addition to Thailand, this program also offers internship opportunities in China, Vietnam, India, and Mongolia, each of which has its own unique characteristics.
