Recent graduate publishes in prestigious journal, Chemical Science

Paper by graduate student Shota Kato et al. published in prestigious journal Chemical Science


A scientific paper written by a recent graduate of the Graduate School of Science and Engineering Applied Chemistry Course, Shota Kato (master’s degree completed in 2020), and colleagues, including current graduate student Daichi Mizukami, Research Associate Tomoya Sugai, and Professor Haruhiko Fuwa, has been published in Chemical Science, the flagship journal of the Royal Society of Chemistry, appearing on the inside cover.

Receiving a high evaluation from reviewers and capturing the attention of the editor, the paper was selected as the journal's “ChemSciPick” and in its “Chemical Science HOT Article Collection”.

ChemistryViews, the online science news site of Chemistry Europe, also highlighted the paper in its news section.

The research was conducted in collaboration with Professor Masashi Tsuda of Kochi University.
