Emeritus Professor Okubo awarded Officer to the Order of Leopold

Chuo University Professor Emeritus, Nobuyuki Okubo was awarded “the Officer to the Order of Leopold” by the Kingdom of Belgium.
The order was presented by Her Excellency Ms. Roxane de BILDERLING, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary, Embassy of Belgium in Japan, in the award ceremony held at the Embassy of Belgium in Japan on Friday, December 11, 2020.

The Officer to the Order of Leopold is a very prestigious order awarded to individuals who have made a contribution to various fields (economy, society, culture, etc.) in the private sector. Dr. Okubo received the order in honor of his significant contribution to inter-university exchange between universities in Belgium and Japan.
