【as of March 9】Notice on Entrance Ceremonies

※No ceremonies will be held in gymnasiums.

 

In consideration of the social situation with the recent spread of the new coronavirus (COVID-19), Chuo University has decided to cancel the entrance ceremonies for the year 2020. Nevertheless, we would like to celebrate the special occasion of welcoming new students to Chuo University. Therefore, in lieu of entrance ceremonies, we will post the congratulatory speeches of the President and other faculty members on the Chuo University official website.

Details will be announced separately.

 

【Cancelled Entrance Ceremonies】

April 2 (Thu): Entrance Ceremony for the Faculties of Liberal Arts※ and Graduate Schools

April 3 (Fri): Entrance Ceremony for the Faculty and Graduate School of Science and Engineering

April 3 (Fri): Chuo Law School Entrance Ceremony

April 5 (Sun): Chuo Graduate School of Strategic Management Entrance Ceremony

 

※ Faculties of Law, Economics, Commerce, Letters, Policy Studies, Global Management, and Global Informatics

 

The holding of events at the beginning of the year 2020, such as guidance, orientations, and medical examinations, is under consideration.

Details will be posted on the Chuo University official website after Tuesday, March 17, as soon as decisions are made.
