Chinese International Student Association donates masks to Chuo University

In support of Japan and their alma mater, Chuo University, and in response to the new coronavirus situation, members of the Chinese International Student Association have committed to “Send 100,000 masks to Japan with gratitude and friendship.” The masks were purchased with donations from current students at our partner institution, the University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, and many others inside and outside China. Some of the masks have been donated to Chuo.
 
With sincere thanks for the generosity of its supporters and alumni, and after consultation with the related sections, Chuo will begin using the masks at on-campus events in order to prevent the spread of the coronavirus during the new semester.
 
Recognizing this thoughtful and timely support, the Chuo Community sends a heartfelt thank you to the Chinese International Student Association.
