University President’s message to all those affected by the western Japan downpours and flooding

Our hearts go out to the people who have been affected by the torrential rains in western Japan in July, 2018.

As you will have heard in daily reports, rescue operations are still in progress through wide areas of western Japan. At Chuo University, we are committed to providing as much support as we can to students with families and relatives in the disaster-hit areas, so that they will be able to continue their studies at Chuo. We will take whatever action we can to help students return to their normal lives as quickly as possible.

On behalf of the Chuo community, I send our sincere wishes for everyone’s safety and recovery.
