Article on the Research of Prof. Taguchi, Distributed through AFP

Professor Azuma Taguchi of Chuo University’s Faculty of Science and Engineering, Department of Information and Systems Engineering, was interviewed by AFP, and the article was distributed widely around the world on May 8, 2018.

The article reported Prof. Taguchi’s study which predicts paralysing congestion on the subway system in the greater Tokyo area during the 2020 Olympics. He provided an easy-to-understand explanation by citing examples of the 2012 London Olympics and London’s Wimbledon tennis championships.
