Faculty of Economics Students Visit Busan National University of Education in South Korea

On March 1, 17 second year students from Associate Professor Masaru Takeda’s seminar in the Faculty of Economics visited Busan National University of Education in Busan Metropolitan City in South Korea to engage in an international exchange.

The event was held as part of Global Field Studies (GFS), a global education program of the Faculty of Economics.

Students from Associate Professor Takeda’s seminar made four fifteen-minute presentations in English, including “Income Inequality in Korea” and “Labor Problems in Japan.” A question and answer session followed, with an active exchange of thoughts in English between students of both universities. The issue of excessive working hours seemed the most interesting topic, especially for the Korean students, who aim to become teachers at elementary schools in the future.
