Chulalongkorn University Visits Tama Campus

Lecture by Prof. Hasegawa

Students and faculty members from Chulalongkorn University’s Faculty of Economics in Thailand, visited the Tama campus on June 1, joining members of Chuo University’s Faculty of Economics to engage in cross-border exchange.

Professor Hasegawa’s seminar group has been in active exchange with one of Chuo’s international partners, Chulalongkorn University, and its Faculty of Economics. This was their third visit, having previously come for a workshop in January 2016 and an exchange visit in May 2016.

A lecture entitled “Growing ASEAN Economies and Trade in Value-Added” was given by Professor Toshiaki Hasegawa of Chuo University’s Faculty of Economics. After which, Chuo students joined their counterparts from Chulalongkorn University for lunch and a campus tour, deepening mutual exchange with both students and faculty members.

In November, students from Professor Hasegawa’s seminar are scheduled to visit Chulalongkorn University, and it is expected that their visit will help to promote exchange between the two universities.
