National “Go” Student Champion

The 42nd All Japan Student Championship in the game of Go was held on December 20-21, 2013, in Mie Prefecture, where Yuta Yoshimoto (2nd year Faculty of Commerce) from the Chuo University Go Club became the winner.
 

The Gakusei Oushou-sen, similar to the Gakusei Meijin-sen, is a competition by 16 members who won the national 8 blocks.Yoshimoto became the second winner from Chuo after the 1972 win from the 1st championship game 41 years ago.
