Shioura wins bronze in Barcelona

At the 15th World Swimming Championships held in Barcelona, Spain, from July 28 to August 4, Shinri Shioura (4th year Faculty of Law) won the bronze medal at the mens 400m relay finals on the last day.
Shioura was the final swimmer in the medley relay, and showed his strength in the free-style race, finishing at fourth place. However team USA was disqualified, bumping up Japan to third place.
Shioura also swam the 50m free-style, 100m free-style, and the 400m free relay.
