Department of English Studies of the Faculty of Letters will co-host with the Japan Second Language Association the three-day workshop on multilingual language acquisition, processing and use (L3 Workshop – Tokyo) from May 17th to 19th, taking place at Chuo University Tama Campus.
This workshop which counts the eighth follows a series of fruitful gatherings in Stockholm (January 2009), Iowa City (June 2010), Vitoria-Gasteiz (May 2012), Tromso (March 2015), Poznan (May 2017), Konstanz (May 2019), and London (October 2022).
The purpose of this workshop is to provide opportunities for the global researchers who study acquisition, processing and use of multilingual languages including the third language to give presentation that contributes empirically and theoretically toward multilingualism understanding and to actively exchange opinions in a broad perspective. The workshops will be held face-to-face only.
