１．講　師：Dr. Yu Kanazawa, PhD.（金澤 佑）（大阪大学准教授）

　　演　題：Three Hypotheses on Micro-Level Emotions in Foreign Language Retention

　　要　旨：Emotions in second language learning are not only about salient self-conscious macro-level emotions such as motivational selves, but also about subconscious micro-level emotions that permeate cognitive processes. This lecture looks into the philosophy, neuroscience, and psychology of the learning-enhancing micro-level emotions and reviews three hypotheses - the Emotion-Involved Processing Hypothesis, the Deep Positivity Hypothesis, the Deep Epistemic Emotion Hypothesis - and explores their pedagogical implications.

　　演　題: Emotions for Immersive Foreign Language Learning: Brain-Based Pedagogy and the Apple Tree Model 

　　要　旨：This lecture investigates the dynamic relationship between emotions and cognition, focusing on how emotions shape attention, learning, memory, and foreign language acquisition, thus supporting brain-based learning. Grounded in neuroscientific and psychological research, it highlights the importance of the 3 Reals Principle in foreign language learning and the critical role of teachers in harnessing emotional engagement as proposed in the Apple Tree Model. Supported by empirical research, we will discuss practical pedagogical strategies for foreign language learning, including emotional hooks, to trigger brain-based learning processes and create more immersive and impactful learning experiences.
