物理学，数学，情報科学など多くの分野でランダム行列理論が注目され，

活発に研究がなされています。

中央大学国際センターと中央大学大学院理工学研究科は今年度前期，

ランダム行列理論を情報理論に応用している

Lu Wei 教授（アメリカ・テキサス工科大）を客員教授としてお招きしました。

下記のように，入門的な講義をしていただきます。

学部生・大学院生を対象に，黒板を使ってゆっくりと解説してくれると思います。

内容

題　目： Introduction to Wishart Random Matrices with Applications: A Mini Course

  

概　要：

In this mini course, we introduce some basic results of finite-dimensional Wishart random matrices.

In particular, we discuss the eigenvalue distributions, correlation functions,

and the underlying Laguerre orthogonal polynomials.

Basic properties of Laguerre polynomials are also discussed.

As an application, we outline the key ingredients in calculating the exact cumulants of

von Neumann entropy and relative entropy of quantum bipartite systems.
