              On behalf of the organizing committee, we would like to extend our warm welcome to you all participating in the Symposium on Materials Chemistry for Sustainable Energy in Chuo University. This symposium was organized under the auspices of the three-years project entitled "Construction of photo-driven energy carrier system" supported by the Promotion and Mutual Aid Corporation for Private Schools of Japan. The project aims at opening up a new dimension of photo-driven energy carriers together with creation of novel materials and sciences that would contribute towards establishing sustainable society.

              This symposium will be an excellent platform to exchange new ideas, extend networks, and to discuss latest research outcomes in the materials chemistry for sustainable energy. In this symposium, eight oral contributions will be presented covering all aspects of materials research works from fundamentals and characterization to various applications extended to green and sustainable technology.

              Finally, we would like to thank you all the participants and wish you find this symposium fruitful and enjoyable. Thank you.

・We recommend wearing a mask and using an alcohol disinfectant when attending our events.

・Please take everyday preventive actions to stop the spread of the virus.
