テーマ：  Social cognition in frontotemporal dementia (FTD)


要 旨： The ability to recognize how other people are feeling
             and make judgements based on their inferred
            thoughts is essential for successful social
            interactions, and is thought to depend on a complex
            network of brain regions. These abilities are
            increasingly recognized as being compromised in
            some dementia syndromes, particularly in
            frontotemporal dementia (FTD). The talk will
            introduce several aspects of FTD, focusing on social
            cognition.
