[Faculty of Global Management] Building Confidence Through Public Speaking

The Introduction to Public Speaking course in the Faculty of Global Management, taught by Instructor John Lacey, concluded with an engaging final speech program that highlighted the progress and confidence of its participants. As the course's final examination, seven students each delivered a five-minute speech, demonstrating the public speaking foundations they had developed throughout the semester.

The program showcased a diverse range of topics, reflecting both the students' creativity and personal interests. Speech themes ranged from "Keeping a Journal" to "Working Out," offering the audience a variety of informative and inspiring speeches. Each speaker applied essential techniques learned in class, including effective organization, audience engagement, vocal delivery, and confident body language.

Throughout the course, students built the skills necessary to communicate ideas clearly and persuasively in front of an audience. The final presentations demonstrated not only improved speaking ability but also increased self-confidence and professionalism.
