【国際経営学部】専門演習Ⅰ (担当：国松麻季)は、台湾の正修科技大とオンライン交流を実施／[Faculty of Global Management] Seminar I (Instructor: Maki Kunimatsu) Conducts Online Exchange with Cheng Shiu University, Taiwan

国際経営学部の専門演習I（国松ゼミ）では、昨年度に引き続き、台湾の正修科技大（https://www.csu.edu.tw/）の学生とオンライン会議システムを用いた異文化間交流教育を実施しています。本授業は、2024年度から始まった「イノベーション推進事業」の取り組みのひとつです。
2025年度は11月6日の顔合わせに続き、4名１グループでの対話を11月13日、12月4日、18日の3回にわたって行い、大学生活やアルバイト、将来の目標などさまざまなトピックを英語で語り合いました。

「スマイル・プロジェクト」（SMILE（Student Meet Internationally through Language Education) Project）と名付けられるこの取り組みは、英語スキルを試すことのできる機会であり、継続して交流を図ることで異なる文化や価値観をより深く理解し、自分の国や自分自身を振り返るきっかけとなります。プロジェクトの名のとおり、笑顔の絶えない時間となっています。

国際経営学部では、今後もさまざまな機会を通じて学部生がグローバル社会に必須となるコミュニケーション・スキルを向上させる機会を提供して参ります。

 

In the Seminar I course offered by the Faculty of Global Management (Kunimatsu Seminar), students are engaging in intercultural exchange activities with students from Cheng Shiu University (https://www.csu.edu.tw/), Taiwan, using an online conferencing system, following on from last year’s initiative. This course is part of the Innovation Promotion Program launched in the 2024 academic year.

In the 2025 academic year, following an initial orientation session on November 6, students participated in three rounds of small-group discussions (in groups of four) on November 13, December 4, and December 18. Through these sessions, students discussed a wide range of topics in English, including university life, part-time jobs, and future career goals.

This initiative, the “SMILE Project” (Student Meet Internationally through Language Education Project), provides students with valuable opportunities to practice and apply their English skills. Through sustained interaction, students deepen their understanding of different cultures and values, while also reflecting on their own countries and identities. True to its name, the project has been filled with smiles and lively exchanges.

The Faculty of Global Management will continue to offer diverse opportunities to help undergraduate students develop the communication skills essential for success in an increasingly globalized society.
