Raman spectroscopy is an optical method that probes the molecular vibrations of a sample by detecting the energy shift of the scattered light from the incident light. It has a strong potential in biomedical research because of its non-destructive and label-free characteristics. In my talk, I will introduce my recent works on the Raman spectroscopic study of stem cell differentiation and bone formation to show the latest progress of the field.
