講演題目：　On the Interaction of Dissipative Solitons (DSs): Selected Recent Developments

 

概　要：

Shortly after dissipative solitons had been discovered in 1988, the study of their interaction started [1] demonstrating interpenetration and annihilation as a function of the cross-coupling between counterpropagating waves.
In the following this study was generalized to the interaction of oscillatory, quasi-periodic and chaotic DSs [2] and later to the interaction of exploding DSs [3]. In these studies the focus was on the asymptotic results after the collision. Only rather recently [4,5] the actual interaction process moved into the focus of attention. For the case of oscillatory DSs the possibility of the generation of a second DS was demonstrated [4], while for the interaction of exploding DSs the result of the interaction was shown to depend sensitively on the initial conditions.
