国際経営学部では、海外短期留学プログラム「Global Studies（GS）」を実施しています。2025年度も学生たちがアメリカに渡航し、充実した学びと貴重な体験を積むことができました。
今回の渡航先の一つは、ニューヨーク市立大学スタテン・アイランド校（College of Staten Island, City University of New York, 以下 CSI）。学生たちは英語力の向上に励むだけでなく、企業訪問を通じて実社会に触れる機会も得ました。訪問先には米国三菱商事やニューヨーク日本商工会議所が含まれており、現地のビジネス環境を体感しました。
滞在中はホームステイを経験し、異なるバックグラウンドを持つ人々と交流することで、コミュニケーション力を大きく伸ばしました。また、マンハッタンを訪れたりしてワールドトレードセンターの見学、ウォール街の雰囲気を味わう体験、さらには野球観戦など、ニューヨークならではの時間も楽しみました。
本プログラムを通して得られた経験は、学生たちの今後の学びと成長に大きくつながります。国際経営学部は引き続きGlobal Studiesを提供することを通じて国際交流や異文化理解を応援していきます。

The Faculty of Global Management offers a short-term study abroad program called Global Studies (GS). In 2025, our students once again traveled to the United States and enjoyed a meaningful and fulfilling experience.
One of this year’s destination was the College of Staten Island, City University of New York (CSI). Students not only worked on improving their English skills, but also gained real-world insights through company visits. They had the opportunity to visit Mitsubishi Corporation (Americas) and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry of New York, which provided valuable exposure to international business.

Students stayed with host families, learning from people with diverse backgrounds and strengthening their communication skills. They also enjoyed exploring iconic New York landmarks, including strolling through Manhattan, visiting the World Trade Center, experiencing the atmosphere of Wall Street, and even attending a baseball game.
We believe the experiences gained through this program will contribute greatly to their future learning and personal growth. We will continue supporting intercultural exchange through providing Global Studies Program.
