福たすプロジェクトによるエコキャップチャレンジ

2023年度

「福たすプロジェクト」は、J2リーグに所属するブラウブリッツ秋田と共同で「スポーツを通じた地域活性化」を目指すプロジェクトである。日本の社会課題「高齢化率、自殺率」が共に全国１位の秋田県を対象に、学生主体で企画立案及びイベントを実施することで、社会課題解決の一助となることを目指し、今年度で10年目を迎えた。この活動の一つとして、本プロジェクト参加者に対して10年間の感謝を形として表現しSDGsの内容理解を促すことを目的に「エコキャップチャレンジ」を実施した。

この取り組みでは、ブラウブリッツ秋田のホームゲームや中央大学多摩キャンパスにおいて回収したペットボトルキャップを活用して、縦2m、横2.5m、合計4,032個のキャップを使用したエコアートを制作した。プロジェクト終了後、回収した全てのキャップは世界の子供達のワクチン支援に繋げ、完成したアートは、福たすプロジェクト当日(9月16日(土))、ブラウブリッツ秋田のホームスタジアムであるソユースタジアムにてお披露目した。

多摩キャンパスで2023年7月7日(金)から7月31日(日)までペットボトルキャップの回収活動を実施し、合計3,212個集まった。回収したエコキャップは全てソユースタジアムに運び、アートに使用したキャップも含め回収した全てのキャップ47,400個は、世界の子供達へワクチンを贈る費用として寄付した(約95名分)。

ソユースタジアムにてエコキャップ運動終了後も自主的にキャップの寄付を続けている方もいらっしゃり、微力ながらSDGsの内容理解・活動促進に寄与した。

The "Fukutasu Project" is a joint project with BLAUBLITZ AKITA of the J2 League that aims to "revitalize the local community through sports." This year marks the 10th year of the project, which aims to help solve social issues surrounding Akita Prefecture where aging and suicide rates are the highest in Japan, through student-led planning and implementation of events. As one of these activities, the "Eco-Cap Challenge" was held to express gratitude to the participants of this project over the past 10 years and to promote understanding of the SDGs.

This initiative utilized plastic bottle caps collected at BLAUBLITZ AKITA home games and at Chuo University's Tama Campus to create eco-art using a total of 4,032 caps measuring 2m in length and 2.5m in width. After the project was completed, all the caps collected were used to support vaccines for children around the world, and the completed artwork was unveiled on the day of the Fukutasu Project (Saturday, September 16) at Soyu Stadium, the home stadium of BLAUBLITZ AKITA.

PET bottle caps were collected at the Tama Campus from July 7 (Fri.) to July 31 (Sun.), 2023, which amounted to 3,212 caps in total. All caps collected were taken to the Soyu Stadium, and 47,400 caps, including those used for art, were donated to pay for vaccines for children around the world (sufficient for approx. 95 children).

Some people continued to voluntarily donate caps at the Soyu Stadium even after the “Eco-Cap Challenge” was over, and we believe we have contributed to making others understand the contents of and promoted the activities of the SDGs.
