SDGs放課後プロジェクト

中央大学附属中学校高等学校（中附）と本学経済学部は共同で「SDGs放課後プロジェクト」を行なった。中附の北島咲江教諭が企画・立案し、それにもとづいて、本学経済学部およびFLP国際協力プログラムの林光洋ゼミナールの学生が実施した。SDGsを学ぶことに意欲をもつ中附および中央大学杉並高等学校の10数人の中高生が、メンターとして参加した林ゼミのメンバーとチームを組み、大学生の知識と経験を借りながら、SDGsに関連した社会的課題を見つけ、それを解決するための具体的な提案を検討するプロジェクトである。2023年1月から2月にかけて合計4回、講座を開催した。各回、1時間程度、SDGsの専門家から講義を受け、その後1－2時間程度、3チームに分かれた中高生と林ゼミの学生は社会的課題およびその解決方法について話し合い、プロジェクトを形成した。最終回の講座において、3チームはそれぞれ「学校の食堂の残飯をコンポスト化する」、「LGBTQを学校で知ってもらう」、「伝統工芸品生産者と消費者をつなぐ」というテーマのプロジェクトを発表した。今後、生徒たちは、提案したことをそれぞれの学校で実施できないか模索していくことになる。

Chuo University Junior and Senior High School and the Faculty of Economics (Chuo University) jointly carried out the “After-school Project for Learning SDGs.” Ms. Sakie Kitajima, a teacher of Chuo University Junior and Senior High School, organized this project and several students from Mitsuhiro Hayashi seminar class (the Faculty of Economics and FLP International Cooperation Program) conducted it based on her plan. This is a project in which some dozen students from Chuo University Junior and Senior High School and Chuo University Suginami High School form three teams incorporated with the students from Hayashi seminar class attending as mentors and attempt to identify social problems related to SDGs and consider specific proposals for solving those problems. The class for this project was held four times from January to February in 2023. After listening to a one-hour lecture given by experts on SDGs each time, the students from junior and senior high schools and those from Hayashi seminar class, by each team, discussed social problems and ways of solving them and prepared project proposals, for an hour or two. In the final round of the meeting, three teams presented “the Composting of Leftovers from School Canteens,” “the Provision of Knowledge on LGBTQ to School Students,” and “the Connection of Traditional Handicraft Producers and Consumers,” as their project proposals, respectively. The students would seek to undertake their proposals at their junior and high schools from now on.
