産学連携で男女共同参画とSDGsを学ぶ

理工学部では2006年から15年以上、男女共同参推進の一環として、リケジョ応援プログラムWISE Chuo (Women In Science and Engineering, Chuo University)を継続している。本プログラムは、産業界との連携によりすすめている。産業界で活躍する理工系女性を講師として招き、理工系人材としての働き方、理工系女性の仕事とライフイベントとの関係、キャリア形成の道筋、理工系の学びや学生時代に取り組んでみたかったことなどを、直接、伺える、他大学にはない学びのプログラムである。

また、2021年度からは、SDGsの学びを加えた。各社がSDGsの実現にどう取り組んでいるか、その中での理工系人材の科学技術面からの貢献についても、学ぶプログラムに進化している。

女子学生のコミュニティ（WISE学生部）の取り組みでは、コロナ禍にあって学生間のつながりが希薄になるのを防ぐために、プレ入学式（理工学部行事：女子学生だけの入学式前の交流会）への参画や、女子学生と卒業生との交流会などを企画し実施した。

For more than 15 years since 2006, the Faculty of Science and Engineering has continued the 'Women In Science and Engineering, Chuo' (WISE Chuo) program as part of its efforts to promote gender equality. This program is promoted in collaboration with industry. It is a unique learning program that invites women in science and engineering who are active in industry as lecturers to directly discuss how to work as a science and engineering professional, the relationship between work and life events for women in science and engineering, the path to career development, and what they wanted to study and do in science and engineering when they were students.

In addition, from FY2021, we have added learning about the SDGs. The program has evolved to include learning about how each company is working to realize the SDGs and the contribution of science and engineering personnel to this effort from a scientific and technological perspective.

In the initiative of the female student community (WISE student club), participation in the pre-entrance ceremony (an event of the Faculty of Science and Engineering: a social gathering before the entrance ceremony for female students only) and exchange meetings between female students and graduates were planned and implemented to prevent the lack of connection among students in the COVID-19 Disaster.
