取り組み概要、意義、成果

渡辺岳夫商学部教授が担当するスポーツビジネスプロジェクトという講座において，履修生たちは災害用の備蓄品の多くが無駄になっていることを課題として認識し，それらを有効活用する企画案を策定した。具体的には，災害時の備蓄品である乾パン等をクラフトビールにアップサイクルする案を考案して，協力企業を履修生自らが発見して，その案を実現するプロセスを創り込むことに成功した。

この企画案は，Jリーグに所属するプロサッカークラブである水戸ホーリーホックの役員たちの前でプレゼンされ，高い評価を得た。地域貢献を組織のパーパスに掲げるJリーグのサッカークラブにとっては，この案は実現に値するものと認識され，現在，履修生たちは水戸ホーリーホックと共同でこの案の実現に向けて活動を続けている。

Overview of initiatives, significance, and results

In a course called "Sports Business Project" taught by Professor Takeo Watanabe of the Faculty of Commerce, students recognized that many of the stockpiled goods for disasters were being wasted, and developed a plan to make effective use of them. Specifically, they devised a plan to upcycle dried bread and other items stockpiled for disasters into craft beer, and succeeded in creating a process to realize the plan by finding cooperating companies by the students themselves.

This plan was presented in front of the executives of Mito HollyHock, a professional soccer club belonging to the J-League, and received a high evaluation. The J-League soccer club, which has community contribution as its organizational purpose, recognized that the proposal was worthy of realization, and the students are now working with Mito HollyHock to make the proposal a reality.
