中央大学フェアトレード委員会FACTの活動

2023年度

FACT（Fair Trade Chuo University Team）はFLP国際協力プログラムの学生を中心に組織された団体である。活動の目的は、中央大学のより多くの人にフェアトレードに関する知識を普及し、フェアトレードを推進することである。2023年5月と11月の2回、中央大学生協の店舗にてフェアトレード商品の販売を行うフェアトレードフェアを開催し、計344商品を販売することができた。10月には、楽天グループ株式会社のCWO（Chief Well-being Officer）である小林正忠様による「楽天グループのフェアトレードへの取り組み」を講演いただいた。11月の文化祭では、フェアトレード商品を使用したワッフルサンドを販売し、550食を完売することができた。そして、12月には、中央大学図書館の国際機関資料室と合同でフェアトレードに関する本を展示する企画（国連SDGs企画展）を行った。これらの活動を通して、学生だけでなく教職員にもフェアトレードを知っていただき、フェアトレードを身近に感じていただくことができたと思う。私たちの活動はSDGs の17項目すべてと関わりがあるが、特に目標1、8、12、17の4つとの関わりが強いと考える。

FACT is an organization led by students of Global FLP Program. Its goal is to promote Fairtrade by disseminating its knowledge to as many people as possible at Chuo University. In May and November 2023, the fair which provided Fairtrade products was held at Co-op, selling 344 products in total. In October, Mr. Masatada Kobayashi, CWO (Chief Well-being Officer) of Rakuten, gave a lecture on the Rakuten group's Fairtrade initiatives. At the Hakumon school festival in November, FACT sold waffle sands made from Fairtrade products and sold out 550 meals. Furthermore, in December, a joint event with the Chuo University Library International Documents Room was held to exhibit books on Fairtrade. We believe these activities helped Chuo’s students as well as faculty members to deepen their understanding of Fairtrade and feel familiar with it. Our activities are aligned with all 17 Goals of SDGs, particularly with Goals 1, 8, 12, and 17.
