2022年5月20日に「Managing disaster risks and maintaining biodiversity -in search of synergies for sustainable solutions‐防災・減災と生物多様性保全の両立を目指して‐」と題し、中央大学SDGs講演会をウェビナー形式でオンライン開催しました。
このウェビナーにおいては、防災・減災に向けた対策と生物多様性の保全を同時に取り上げました。
フィリピンや日本における取り組みについて学び、どのような措置が人の暮らしをより安全にするために効果的で、かつ生物多様性の維持を達成できるか、これらの統合的な取り組みにおける大学の役割に着目し議論しました。

Overview of initiatives, significance, and results
On May 20, 2022, Chuo University held an online webinar titled “Managing disaster risks and maintaining biodiversity -in search of synergies for sustainable solutions A webinar titled “Managing disaster risks and maintaining biodiversity -in search of synergies for sustainable solutions-” was held at Chuo University on May 20, 2022.
The webinar focused on disaster prevention and mitigation measures and biodiversity conservation at the same time.
We learned about efforts in the Philippines and Japan, and discussed what measures can be taken to make people's lives safer and more effective, while at the same time achieving biodiversity conservation, focusing on the role of universities in these integrated efforts.
