講演題目：What is like to be a mathematician?
Mathematicians are known to teach math, and to do research on questions which might appear too technical to be related to daily life matters.
In this talk I will tell you that there is a bit more than research and
teaching in a mathematician's `routine'; for example, I shall explain our involvement in the publishing of mathematical papers.
Also, I will try to convince you on how a combinatorial question related to vertices and edges of polytopes (like cubes, tetrahedra, etc) is linked to important problem in logistics, resource optimization, and linear programming.
